The Cottage Thrift Store

Welcome to The Cottage Thrift Store, now located at 1407 North Boyer Avenue in Sandpoint. Housed in a charming Craftsman-style home built in the early 1900s, our store offers a unique shopping experience with an eclectic mix of quality home and garden items at unbeatable prices.

About The Cottage

Founded in 2010, The Cottage Thrift Store serves a dual purpose: it provides vital financial support to the programs at PSNI and offers employment training opportunities for adults with disabilities. Our clients are an integral part of our operations, processing donations and performing daily cleaning duties, while our staff and volunteers ensure a warm and festive atmosphere that makes shopping here a delight.

Donate and Make a Difference

We’re always on the lookout for high-quality home and garden items. Your generous donations help us keep the store stocked with unique finds, while also supporting PSNI’s mission to provide meaningful work opportunities. All donations are tax-deductible, so you can declutter your home and support a great cause at the same time!

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in becoming part of The Cottage team? We would love to talk to you about volunteer opportunities. Whether you enjoy organizing, customer service, or simply being part of a fun and rewarding environment, there’s a place for you here. Volunteering at The Cottage is a fantastic way to give back to the community while making new friends.
