Independent Living Skills

This unique program offers specialized training for life skills like budgeting, shopping, housekeeping, cooking, and more to adults with disabilities. Our program currently serves 70+ individuals and has helped hundreds of people with disabilities successfully increase their independence, live in their own apartments, maintain employment, actively engage in their communities, and develop healthy long-term relationships with others.

PSNI’s Life Skills Training program is dedicated to empowering our clients by delivering personalized training that helps them reach their fullest potential for independence—all while enjoying the journey. Our passionate life skills training staff focus on building essential skills in these key areas:

  • Self-Care hygiene & grooming, laundry etc
  • Budgeting/Money Management
  • Time Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Social Skills

Eligibility Requirements

Individuals must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a documented disability
  • Meet the eligibility requirements established by Idaho Health and Welfare
